This route starts from the village of Llucmajor. Follow the turn-off to Palma to the right off the high street. The route proceeds along a narrow road flanked by dry stone walls and farms and ends at Capocorb Vell, a prehistoric site, at the intersection with the Palma-Cabo Blanco road. Once at this point, return to the village on the road which runs parallel to the above road on the right-hand side when facing towards Palma. The entire route is well-signposted.
Places of Interest
The talaiotic settlement of Capcorb Vell, where well-preserved, round talaiots can be seen.
There are a number of sixteenth-century defence towers in the area, such as those at s'Enderrocat, Cap Blanc, Cala Pí and s'Estalella.
The village of Llucmajor, which features the Church of Sant Miquel and the Buenaventura Convent. A very lively village, Llucmajor has an outdoor fruit and vegetable market on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a flea market on Fridays.
